Manta, Seaworld’s new roller coaster opens on May 22nd 2009.  The track is installed and the cars rays are already being tested.  Looks like everything is on track for opening day!

Manta is going to be a unique guest experience, the wait line is an attraction in itself with exhibits to view.

The coaster is said to emulate the gliding of a Manta Ray including a part where the wing of the ray will glide through the water.  Will the riders or the guests watching the ride get wet?  We will have to see!

Rides glide face down underneath a giant Manta Ray which has a wingspan of 12 feet.  With speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, 4 inversons and 3,359ft of track, Manta will sure to be a hit when it opens.
